Increased 40% in Third Quartal, Cleo has Optimism will Achieve Net Profit in 2017
PT Sariguna Primatirta Tbk is a producer of Bottled Water (Air Minum Dalam Kemasan) with its superior product Cleo Pure Water (Air Murni Cleo), has given commitment and best product to the consumer. Since become public company by listed its stock at Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on the 5th May 2017, PT Sariguna Primatirta Tbk has developed and produced high quality, innovative, and easy obtained beverage through internationally standard production and integrated by manufacturing network that spread all over Indonesia.
2017 is a challenging year that the result of industry research in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMGC) sector conducted by Nielsen Indonesia, showed that sales growth of Bottled Water (Air Minum dalam Kemasan) group was increasing 3,8% for January until August 2017. Meanwhile, sales growth from the quantity side decrease 1,4% for the same period.
But now until the third quartal in 2017, company had posted financial performance for Januari until September 2017 period with good result that the company posted the consolidation sales of IDR 440 billion or increased of 12,5 % than the previous year in 2016 in the same month of IDR 391 billion. Beside that, company had posted consolidation net profit of IDR 38,1 billion or increase of 40% than consolidation net profit in the same period in 2016 of IDR 27, 2 billion.
By the achieving of the net profit until the third quartal , company has optimism to achieve net profit target in 2017 a line with the peak season of bottled water sales in October and November 2017.
To support company expansion for the next year, it will expand internal and external distribution center in the whole Indonesia. The amount of the internal distribution nowadays is 66 branches and will expand up to 80 branches by the end of 2017. Meanwhile the external distribution channel nowadays is 114 branches and will expand continuosly up to 120 branches by the end of 2017. The purpose of the channel distribution expansion is to create Cleo as an easy obtained beverage for all Indonesian consumer with the fast and right distribution as company commitment for applying company vision and mission.
Company has optimism that this expansion can increase sales target. Company’s commitment is a manifestation of service level and trust from consumers and stakeholders to the PT Sariguna Primatirta Tbk products as an Indonesian pride of national beverage.
